Clinical Communication – To elicit a clinical history relevant to the patient’s complaints, in a systematic, thorough fluent and professional manner and to explain relevant clinical information in an accurate, clear, comprehensive and professional manner.

Differential Diagnosis - To create a sensible differential diagnosis for a patient that the candidate has clinically assessed.

Clinical Judgment - To select a sensible and appropriate management plan for a patient in a clinical situation. And thereby apply clinical knowledge, including knowledge of law and ethics, to the case.

Managing Patients' Concerns -To seek, acknowledge and address patients’ or relatives’ concerns and confirm their understanding of the matter under discussion and demonstrated empathy.

Maintaining Patient Welfare - To treat a patient respectfully and sensitively
